Having worked to build a 5-star vacation property in Mexico, it was time for us to bring all we’ve learned to Reina’s home country, Costa Rica. Our dream is to share the rich cultural heritage of these beautiful countries while providing good working opportunities for local families. Our first property, in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, garnered rave reviews from our guests and we are proud to say that we have grown and expanded our original team since then.
Our latest venture, Casa La Reina, brings this concept to Costa Rica where we aim to give our guests a luxury experience by sharing food, local history, design, and culture through our property. The villa is only 5.5 years old and was designed by a world-renown architect based in Costa Rica, decorated by a local interior designer with furniture and finishings custom built by local artisans. With passion, energy, and a touch of pura vida we want our guests to experience the best of what has put this little Central American country on the map.

After a successful career in business in the United States, Larry turned his passion for food, travel, and culture into a successful hospitality business. One half of the two-person dynamic duo behind Casa Lorenzo, Larry’s vision was to create a 5-star short-term rental property that would provide his guests with a custom experience on their vacations. Larry is excited to continue this vision in Costa Rica and looks forward to sharing his passion with you.
Excited to bring her love of beauty, details, and luxury to Casa La Reina, Reina Bush is Larry’s wife and partner in their short-term rental business. After the success of Casa Lorenzo in Mexico, Reina brings her joi-de-vivre to Casa La Reina, a villa nestled in the hills of Tamarindo, Guanacaste. With soul and heart, Reina wants to share her home country with the world, while providing good working opportunities to local families in her home country of Costa Rica.
